I am not sure why this job opening didn't find its way on here, but there is a really great job listing on Catholicjobs.com for a music director at St. Mark's in Huntersville NC, which is the northern suburb of Charlotte.
Don't ask me how I know, but they really are looking for someone with a more traditional bent in music, and a strong background with vocal music, even if you aren't an organist per se. They have 2-3 organists they pay on stipend that you could utilize instead. They have a very new chant schola, and I think they would like to see the children's choir program grow. If you just peruse their website to get a feel for the parish, this is definitely a NLM kind of place, at least with the current pastor at the helm.
It's not for me at my current state in life, but looks like a really great job opportunity for a CMAA kind of person! And they are looking to fill it very soon. Hopefully by early June.
