Prayer translation

    I can't seem to find a good translation for this final prayer of Ember Friday Vespers:

    Exaudi nos, misericors Deus: et mentibus nostris gratiæ tuæ lumen ostende.

    I can make a crude one with my one year of Latin, but if someone has a standard translation, I'd really appreciate it.

    My translation, not official, but within the range of meanings for the words involved:

    Hear us, O merciful God, and send forth the light of Thy grace upon our hearts.
