Assoc. Chaplain in Univ. Ministry, Dir. of Liturgy and Music - Loyola U., New Orleans
  • This full-time, 10-month Associate University Chaplain serves the Loyola University community by coordinating all university liturgies and encouraging full, active participation among all university members in a vibrant liturgical program that enhances the Catholic, Jesuit identity of the institution.

    Qualifications: Master’s Degree or equivalent in music, theology or pastoral ministry. Three years pastoral experience, preferably in higher education apostolate and related to liturgy and/or liturgical music. High proficiency in piano, organ, conducting and vocal coaching skills. Strong familiarity with Ignatian spirituality/Jesuit education and a diversity of faith and worship traditions, especially Roman Catholic liturgy. An understanding of and experience with the spiritual and faith development of young adults. Considerable flexibility with working hours, including regular evening and weekend duties. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
