I am looking for a moderate-level All Saints choral piece, SAB in English or Latin. Went through all the day's listing on CPDL, but almost everything is SATB. Any suggestions?

Decantabat populus by Giovanni Asola seems to fit the tenor of the day, though it's not a proper text.

The editions on CPDL are for SAT but you could sing it down a step or two.
  • Gaudeamus by Joachim Kelecom is SAB, but a little lengthy.

Claire, the attached is an SAB version of a piece I adapted for my English Motets for the Church Year book. I inverted the Sop and Alto lines so it's not the original, but the ranges work!

Thank you, Heath! What original Latin title is that motet arranged from?
  • I would think that is from O Quam Gloriosum.
  • There's a piece on St. James Music Press by Mark Schweizer called "The Souls of the Righteous," which is the proper Offertory for All Saints, available in SAB and SATB. It uses both English and Latin. https://www.sjmp.com/music/the-souls-of-the-righteous-0
