As we approach the 2017-2018 choral season, the Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus, Joliet, is looking for choral singers in all parts (especially tenor and bass) for our choral scholar sub list. Sub choral scholars are expected to attend the rehearsal prior to the liturgy as well as the liturgy itself, for which there is a stipend. The choral Mass is on Sundays at 11:00am, but there are additional calls for holidays, Diocesan liturgies, and Cathedral concerts throughout the season.

We are also seeking individuals, who may or may not be interested in subbing as a choral scholar, to substitute as a paid cantor on occasion. Cantors are sought for the 5:00pm Saturday Vigil Mass, as well as the 7:30am and 9:00am Masses [11:00am Mass when choir is not in session].
