Historic 1,000 household parish, barrier island, Charleston, SC, seeks experienced Director of Liturgical Music. Knowledge of Catholic tradition and Liturgy required. Choral and organ skills essential.

Responsibilities include weekend Masses, Monday night Novena, weddings, funerals, holydays, other seasonal liturgies/devotions, weekly choir rehearsals, psalmist/cantor oversight/training, collaboration with Associate Musician and Traditional Latin Mass community (weekly Low Mass and occasional High Masses).

Singing parish. Traditional repertoire. Skilled choir. Change ringing tower. Two manual, 23-rank Schleuter pipe organ (built in 2000). Strong musical tradition.

Masters degree preferred. Competitive salary with benefits.
