Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Parish, a vibrant faith community in Watertown, SD, is seeking a Director of Liturgical Ministries. This is a full-time position and the successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of music at parish liturgies as well as education and training of cantors, musicians and the parish choir. In addition to preparing the Sunday and Holy Day liturgies, the person in this position, working in conjunction with the pastor and associate pastor, will meet with families and individuals to plan weddings and funerals. Other responsibilities include scheduling of the various ministries within the parish—lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Holy Eucharist, altar servers, sacristans and greeters/ushers—and planning and executing the decoration of the parish church during each liturgical season and for holy days.
