Job Description

Purpose of Position: Under the supervision of the principal, the PK-5 Music teacher is responsible for teaching Music to students in grades PK-Grade 5 by planning and conducting an education program that develops music appreciation, ability, and Catholic identity through musical instruction. Additionally, the Music teacher helps students grow in their enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of concerts including the Veterans, Advent and Spring programs.

Job Qualifications

The candidate will:
1) Be an enthusiastic and creative teacher with a minimum of two years of experience teaching music to prek or elementary students.
2) Be an active, practicing Catholic committed to joyfully witnessing the faith to young people.
4) Have excellent speaking and writing skills and have same high expectations of students.
5) Have an up-to-date Minnesota Teaching License (preferably).
