Music Director The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help
The director of the Shrine Music Ministry is a professional who holds credentials in music and has a thorough understanding of the Roman Catholic liturgy. This person must be a person of faith, responsible for effective planning, coordinating, and execution of music within the liturgical celebrations of the Shrine. He or She is to have a vision of how we can develop our music ministry to enhance the pilgrim experience.
Responsibilities and tasks:
* Collaborates with Rector to integrate music with the overall pilgrim experience. * Directs the choir, selects music appropriate for the liturgical celebration. * Periodic rehearsals with the volunteer choir. * Compensation is stipend-based. Mileage reimbursement available.
