Director of Music Ministry St. Paul the Apostle Parish – Joliet, Illinois Available June 1, 2017
St. Paul the Apostle Parish is seeking a Director of Music Ministry to plan, coordinate, enhance and build our music ministry program. A successful candidate needs experience with adult, youth and children’s choirs as well as with traditional liturgical music. The Director of Music Ministry will direct/accompany/supervise musicians, cantors and choirs for four weekend liturgies, holy days, weekly school Mass, funerals, weddings, First Eucharist and Confirmation, etc. A successful candidate must be an active, practicing Catholic with a Bachelor’s Degree in music, minimum 3 years’ of experience in Catholic music ministry and liturgy, and proficiency in multiple musical styles. Strong organ, piano, choir direction and vocal skills are necessary. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Resumes can be e-mailed to our pastor, Fr.
