There have been some changes to St Michael's Cathedral's Saturday 5 pm vigil and Sunday 12 noon Masses.

First, and most noticeably, the organ voluntaries have been removed. This is a change which I have only seen so far at this church.
Secondly, instead of a hymn and an Introit, the Introit is used as the processional and is from the GR.
All choral music is unaccompanied.
All descants have been eliminated.

These changes are a positive direction liturgically, even in the midst of such political instability, both down south and right here in my own "home base".
