    Not meant as a put-down, but this sounds as though it might be a less magisterial version of Christopher Page's epitome, to which, if its scholarship is of sufficient weight, it might be a companion. It sounds very recommendable - though I read the description given on the above link, one needs to see and read it for a proper literary assessment.
