    Assoc Dean for Academic and Student Affairs
    May be appointed as Assoc Prof or Full Professor rank depending upon portfolio

    The Associate Dean is responsible the college’s curriculum, shaping curriculum offerings, engaging in interdisciplinary course development, degree design, program building and growing the college’s international, online and summer programs. The Associate Dean oversees a 1.75 million dollar budget for summer programs and online programs. This position also provides the college level guidance and management of the tenure and promotion and third year review processes; expands and coordinates the college’s student recruitment and retention efforts; manages enrollment; oversees all college undergraduate and graduate advising; manages the college’s partnerships with other arts school in the state and represents the College internally and externally on committees and at meetings and events. Additional responsibilities may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

    Strategic Planning

    Accreditation Oversight and Reporting
    Annual program review coordination and drafting assistance to the Dean

    Tenure and Promotion including Third Year Review
    Coordinating the administrative process at the College level only (not on the committees, writing letters or participating in any evaluative or T&P advising, except on administrative aspects of the process)

    Enrollment Management/RCM analysis

    Summer Programs
    Monitoring summer program budgets (not creating faculty assignments)
