Father Skeris will be going in for tests at the Mayo Clinic August 22-3, with his mitral valve operation on the 24th if all goes as planned. Please pray for a successful operation and renewed health for him.

Prayers for successful operation and outcome for Father Skeris. My wife has had four major surgeries at the Mayo Clinic, the most recent being two weeks ago this Tuesday. The quality of the surgeons and excellence of care at the Mayo is uniformly high, so Father Skeris will be in good hands there.

No update, so unless we hear otherwise, he will be going for the operation tomorrow. Apparently, emergency cases could bump him from the schedule, but so far no news of a delay.

Yes! Thank you for reminding me. He had an angiogram on the 24th, but not yet the mitral valve operation. The angiogram went well.. will let you know when the operation is scheduled.

Great. I have a good priest friend near Mayo, so it would be good to keep in touch and the prayers going!
