Father's funeral was in the Cathedral in Stockton, and St. Stephen in Sacramento also had a Requiem (and St. Joseph in Modesto).

One of the reasons Fr. Peter was so well beloved was that he was a successful realtor in Santa Cruz before giving that up to found a kitchen for the poor. In 1997 he was ordained, and had wanted to try to found an order based on the Latin Mass.
