Would there happen to be anyone in or near the DFW area in TX with a good degree of chant knowledge/interpretation, and experience teaching it to others, interested in leading a weekend workshop or a few weekly classes this summer for my chant schola members?
I am thinking in July or early August. I'd like a guest instructor to bring in a fresh perspective!
Some of what I am looking for in the instruction:
- teaching better familiarity with the modes & ear training w/ them
- chant notation instruction (more w/ counting/phrasing & neum combinations, special markings, etc.)
