Another Stations Music Request

    Can anyone suggest a not too difficult piece of polyphony from colonial Latin America or a Spanish language hymn for Stations of the Cross?
    The music will be provided by an array of music ministries.
    The variety would probably be a bit "low church" for the taste of most people here, more in line with what Thomas Day promoted as "homely" music, and perhaps too disparate in style to make for a really pleasing, unified musical impression, but it may accomplish some other good.
    I don't know what the children's choir or the Lifeteen ministry is likely to come up with, but we are considering the (not) Palestrina "O Bone Jesu" the Du Bois "Adoramus Te" and Herzliebster Jesu, perhaps congregational singing of the Stabat Mater and Take Up Your Cross, maybe one movement from the Pergolesi Stabat Mater.

    Sebastian de Vivanco has a short, exquisite setting of "In manus tuas" that would be appropriate for the appropriate station. I have a manuscript copy somewhere, but could scan and send to you.

    It is #4203, and goes along with the Stations of the Cross written by Pope Benedict in 2005 (before he was Pope).
