Interesting you should mention that, my choir director sang the Velum Templi from John Ronan's Tenebrae Responses (scroll down to 5) I like your version as well.

Neat! Yes, my director requested some three-voice settings three years back, and this and one other came of that request.

My favourite is the Sicut Ovis (#7). We sing it at tenebrae and the Good Friday Solemn 1 pm service.
