    Seeing 'God of mercy and compassion', the tune that immediately entered my head was Mannheim, commonly paired with 'Lead us, heavenly Father, lead us'.

    The Pergolesi tune, O sang qu'un Dieu, offered by Jonathan is quite fine, though - no disparagement is intended.
