I read this with some jalousie, that there is someone in Britain who is fighting the British Catholic establishment pro banality in liturgical music. MacMillan is a wonderful Catholic composer in Britain with a mission, but is there someone in North America that can be considered a similar musical force?
Wow. I LOVED that article. Yes, I'm shouting with agreement! My candle is smaller than Sir James', and his achievements encourage me to keep lettin' it shine.
