Anyone have any suggestions for a Christmas service prelude piece for organ, flute, and trumpet (although it can be for just organ/flute or organ/trumpet)? (We're already doing "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" as part of an extended prelude featuring instrumental and choral pieces). Thanks!
Maybe take Dandrieu's "Puer Nobis Nascitur" and swap the tune of the noel back and forth between trumpet and organ with each variation? This could work well especially at the end with the echoes.
