Shameless promotion here! If any of you are in central Indiana (or feel up for a road trip!), you are invited to this concert of sacred music being given on December 3 and December 15. We're giving the concert as a way to educate the parishes on the incredible history of music rooted in the Catholic church, and to enrich people's understanding and appreciation of our vast treasure of sacred music.
A Bullet Train Through Western Music A narrated concert on December 3 and December 15, both at 7:30 PM
Featuring the St. Ambrose Schola Cantorum from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, a professional chorus comprised of four of the finest graduate singers from the school, dedicated to excellence in sacred music.
At the concert, you’ll hear music from the earliest Christians to music of the present day, as we go on a whirlwind tour of Western music. Come at 7:00 PM for wine and cheese, coffee and cookies. Then at 7:30 PM you can enjoy an experience of new sounds, of rich history, and beautiful music.
