Historic, downtown, Roman Catholic parish with demonstrable support of musical excellence seeks one or two musician(s) with the following skill sets:
Organist proficient in accompanying, service playing, and improvisation with a love of hymnody (The English Hymnal, Worship III and Gather III, Flor y Canto )
Liturgically adept choirmaster versed in the Church's vast treasury of choral literature (Chant Mass Ordinaries, choral Masses, anthems and cantata/oratorio excerpts by 15th – 21st century Euro-American composers in their original languages) with passion for recruiting and training boys/girls and adult amateur/professional choristers and cantors.
The current Organist/Choirmaster creates and edits two or more weekly orders of worship and has assisted with other communication media related to the music ministry and parish life.
