St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Carnegie, Pennsylvania, is seeking a quarter-time Assistant Director of Music. Duties include, but are not limited to, accompanying the Parish Choir and Schola Cantorum, directing the choirs in the Director of Music’s absence, serving as organist for one weekend liturgy in addition to choral Masses, and completion of minor clerical tasks in the music office. The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience and education in organ and preferably also in voice and choral direction. The candidate should also have a demonstrable knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy and liturgical music, including a familiarity with ecclesiastical Latin and Gregorian chant.
