Variant uses of English Kyrie XVI

Has anyone noticed that there seems to be variations in the English Kyrie XVI?

    Attached in the PDF file:

1.) Kyrie XVI English - variation known to be in use, particularly in Australia
2.) Kyrie XVI Greek - as used for several centuries
3.) Kyrie XVI English - Official ICEL version or "Missal Tone"

Note in particular, the Christe, or English "Christ have mercy" seems to have developed a common variation in Australia. Several chapels where I've attended use this particular method of singing the Christe invocation.

Personally, I get around the entire issue by sticking with the Greek Kyrie. For some reason there is rarely any opposition to this, whereas I find plenty of opposition for singing any of the other parts of the mass ordinary in Latin.

Take a closer look at the middle invocations. What ICEL has published and what is commonly sung (at least in Australia) is different.

Mind you, we also have a considerably different English Chant Our Father. Even the Lumen Christi missal notes the "Australian Tone" - although there is a slight error in the doxology - there should be a clevis on the penultimate neume and not just a single podatus.
