What a beautiful idea: the Institute of Christ the King summer camp on sacred music will take place August 2-7 in St. Louis in Kentucky, organized by the Institute's oratory in St. Louis, and directed by Nick Botkins.

Here's a link to a description of the program, with a nice audio recording of the youthful choir from last summer's event:

If you'd like to encourage the effort and help fund scholarships for students needing assistance to attend, check out their fundraising page:

  • I think the camp itself is held in Kentucky, not St. Louis.

Also, what setting of Ave Verum Corpus is being sung in the recording?

Thanks for the correction; the indiegogo page says that the setting is by Walter.

  • Matthew Walter was an instructor at the Camp last year, and he composed Ave Verum Corpus for the children. Please follow the indiegogo link and consider donating to support the Camp this summer.
