    It's a hymn in Sapphic meter, if that helps.

    It's the Vespers hymn from the Breviarum Monasticum for the feast of St Benedict.

    The 1891 Liber Antiphonale is online as part of the Lalande Library.
    The 1934 Antiphonale Monasticum is online at CC watershed (in 3 parts)

    I have partially set the Gemma Caelestis to the other Melody, would you like me to complete this sooner rather than later?

    tomjaw... thanks for the info on the antiphonales. will definitely be getting those... and... thanks for the more florid melody... once you have the finished I would truly like to have it for future use.
