Music sections of parish websites

    My parish is in the process of launching a new website. I have the opportunity to shape the musical portion of the site. I would be grateful for suggestions of models of parish website music sections. I expect to provide information about the role of sacred music in the life of the church and the role of congregation, choirs and cantors. I will also provide information on the parish pipe organ and something about the special role of the organ in our liturgy.

    St. Mary’s, Norwalk CT is by far my favorite. And St. Martin of Tours, Louisville has a page on the organ.

    Being sort of a parish-within-a-parish, we don't have Latin mass stuff up on the church site. But I keep folks updated via a Facebook page which my predecessor created.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming! The St. Lawrence music section is nicely detailed - very helpful.

    I like the Facebook idea complementing the parish webpage. I would love to hear from more people, especially about their website statements of the purpose of sacred music, and the nature and culture of their choirs.
