Catholic Elementary School Music Teacher/ Parish Music Director

Responsibilities:
a) Teach pre-school through 6th grade music (two ½ hour weekly classes per
grade)
b) Lead school choir program and coordinate music for school Masses
c) Lead adult choir at one parish, start and lead combined youth choir for two
parishes
d) Coordinate weddings, funerals, and weekend and Holy Day Masses

Qualifications:
a) Appropriate licensure/certification as required by the grade levels taught
b) Bachelor's degree in music or education preferred
c) Proficiency in organ
*d) Excited about teaching the Church's tradition of sacred music and engaging in
the New Evangelization
