Litany at Vigil

If there are no baptisms, only confirmations, do you still sing the Litany? My priest says 'yes' because you still have to bless the water. Is it really needed?

If the font is not to be blessed then the Litany is omitted. See RM Easter Vigil 42. If you are only blessing the water begin with No. 52 in the Missal.Thanked by 1bonniebede
