Consider using these in your parish!
They're no more difficult than the settings found in the books of the main publishers, but wonderfully illuminate the texts using Modes II, V, and VII.

Would you like books with these chants and others like them in them in your pews? Now is the time to get them! Have them waiting for your visitors on Easter Sunday morning!

Matthew, how is the audio made? The generous aspirates make me suspect a computer voice, but don't take that the wrong way if it's only a difference of taste ;-)

Well, I know it's Bartlett singing because I know his voice, but I'm not sure how he recorded it.

Matthewj, isn't #3 a composition of Fr. Columba's? I was trying to cite it this past week, but couldn't find it. Also, didn't Adam post a PDF of all of these with verses last year? I can't find it...

    Richard Mix,

While it is a human voice, it sounds like audio processing was used, which is probably what you're hearing.

Bruce - all three settings are by Fr. Kelly. Bartlett is the one singing them in the videos (I don't believe I claim anywhere that Bartlett wrote them).

Ahhh got it. I wasn't insinuating that, just couldn't remember and the videos didn't seem to indicate it. We use #3 here.

I use all three and find that they are all sung wonderfully both by the choir (intoning) and the people (responding).
  • Last year we sang them accompanied. This year a cappella. Works very well.
