DIRECTOR OF MUSIC, ST. JAMES CATHEDRAL
SEATTLE, WA

St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA has an opening for a full time Director of Music. St. James is a vibrant downtown/destination parish of over 2,200 families, nationally recognized for the quality of its liturgies and for its music program which includes 4 adult and 4 children’s choirs and a critically acclaimed concert program.

QUALIFICATIONS
A. A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Sacred Music, or equivalent.
B. Experience in leading music programs at large Catholic parishes, preferably at the cathedral level.
C. Administrative, budgetary and personnel experience commensurate with directing a large cathedral music program.
D. Competence in choral directing and keyboard performance.
E. Ability to work effectively with a number of different groups of people.

COMPENSATION
Commensurate with relevant experience and industry standards.
