Is there any bio available for Michael Gannon? I've seen his name several times in WLP resources as a translator or author of texts, and was curious about his background, as I've found nothing except a possible birth date.
  • Why not just contact World Library and ask the editorial department for his information.
  • According to J. Vincent Higginson's Handbook for American Catholic Hymnals Michael Gannon is a Sulpician priest who studied at The Catholic University of America and at the Louvain from 1957 to 1958.

Several of the texts have appeared in WLP-published hymnals for more than 60 years.
