Accompanist Position at Rifle United Methodist Presbyterian Church
Responsibilities: Accompany congregational singing during worship services at 9:30 in the summer, and 9 & 10:30 the rest of the year. Play SATB parts & accompany Choir during practice Wednesday evenings at 7 and Sunday mornings at 10. Six to Eight hours per week plus personal preparation time.
Preferred knowledge of or willingness to learn: Contemporary music, chord chart and lead sheet reading.
Preferred but not necessary: Ability to play the Organ and/or Guitar.
Qualifications: Professional training desired. A broad range of music interest and competency is needed—from sacred to gospel to praise music.
Salary commensurate with experience. Position reports to Director of Music Ministry and Senior Pastor.
