    Les Misérables, the 2012 movie, had a convent of nuns singing "Te Lucis Ante Terminum", a hymn from the Breviary, and kinda interspersed it with the scene.

    Ahh, vansensei that makes so much sense! I've started (slowly but surely) to learn Compline, and indeed, that is the Te lucis!
  • The Bostonians (1984) begins with an organist in 19th-century garb playing Charles Ives' Variations on America.

    The British film if ... (1968) features several hymns as symbolic Leitmotifs, but they're submerged in the same naughty, gory cinematic world as A Clockwork Orange.
