    Our choir has been looking to find a rehearsal space since the resident choir resumed its Thursday night time slot. (I never took into account that, unlike Yours Truly, their choir directors were reasonable and allowed their choir the summer off.) I've just found out from the local event coordinator that the only available time we would be allowed to rehearse would be Friday, which is a most unfortunate day, as I am singing with another choir that evening. So, prayers please, that we find either a compromise, or another rehearsal space nearby.

    When the Church is booked and I can not rehearse in the church, I will bring a keyboard and rehearse in the church office or, we will all meet at someone's home with a piano or keyboard.

    Our children's schola rehearses in the community room at the local ice rink.

    I've rehearsed my schola in a classroom at a neighboring parish when administrative hijinx made it difficult.

    I have even had rehearals in stair wells! Marvelous acoustics!!!

    I'm thinking of investing in a portable piano and seeing if another room would be available on Monday. (Plus, I could also rehearse at work. ;])
