A good 8 months ago I donated a book for scanning to the CMAA (details here http://forum.musicasacra.com/forum/discussion/comment/116615#Comment_116615) I sent it off it was dissassembled and scanned and returned to me. I have no idea if the appropreate person(s) inour organization recieved it, ... or anything really.
CMAA has inherited the invisible angel that wiped clean Fulton J. Sheen's blackboard on his tv program, which appeared on a major TV network in prime time!
But the angel does, at times, get very busy as he/she is a volunteer, I believe.
Yeah, I expected said angel, being a volunteer would not instantly do something with this. I do want to know that the CMAA isn't being billed for something it hasn't recieved and that I havn't had my book cut up for nothing.
After the scanning firm sent the PDF document to CMAA, there was a delay of a few weeks, but in May I received it and loaded it up to our web site, where it is listed among the teaching aids on our resources page: http://musicasacra.com/resource-lists/
The book looks very useful. Thanks to BGP's generous offer of his copy, we're able to give people a complete PDF copy of the book, which is better than some reprint versions being sold!
Our new General Manager, Janet Gorbitz, has been looking into the possibility of reprinting it, though the special feature in the book (a fold-out sheet) might force the price up some.
