Responsorial Psalms for RSV Lectionary?

    I serve an Ordinariate Parish and - while needless to say we sing our psalms to Anglican Chant at our principal Sunday morning Mass - we've added a 7 p.m. Sunday evening Mass where I'm trying to broaden musical forms to be more familiar to lapsed Catholics, Protestants of other stripes, unchurched, etc. who are more likely to drop in on a Sunday evening. As an Ordinariate Parish, our approved lectionary is the RSV Second Catholic Edition, so I'm wondering if anyone is aware of a setting of responsorial Psalms for that lectionary translation. In the more typical Novus Ordo pattern the verses would be sung by cantor or small choir, with congregational refrain; though for various reasons (and I know this may be heresy on this site) I'd prefer that the prevailing format - especially the refrains - not be plainsong, preferring something more metered, like singing a phrase of a hymn. Anyone aware of such a resource?

    If it's been done, it's probably been the work of Ordinariate musicians. As far as I know, the only Catholics using the RSV-2CE in Mass are in the Ordinariates and in the Antilles.

    A number of the responsorial psalm in Hymns, Psalms, and Spiritual Canticles are settings of the RSV (not the Catholic edition, but I believe the text of the psalter is identical in both versions).

    The psalms in question are 13, 24, 40, 42-43, 78, 80, 96, 110, 124, 132, and the verses from Isaiah 12. I don't know which version of the antiphons you use, but HP&SC was published in 1983, so it uses pre-1998 version of the Lectionary -many of which are easily adaptable to the current versions.

    These may not work for you since they all have chant style antiphons. Of course you could write or adapt your own antiphons from another source.

    I would have thought you'd be using the KJV (or DR) for lessons, and the Coverdale (or its 1928 minor adaptation) for the Psalms. No?

    The RSV-CE is the only lectionary approved for Ordinariate use. Yes, we do use Coverdale to Anglican Chant for the morning High Mass, but those forms of both language and music, respectively, are culturally alien to the folks more likely to attend the 7 p.m. Mass we've added. Since the RSV lectionary has its own translation for the psalms in modern English and with the refrain supplied, the question stands regarding musical settings of the same.
