Solemn tone I ?

I am setting to consecutive verses ( 2 couplets) using the solemn palm tone between an antiphon' and its repetition. Does the second verse ( the second couplet) begin with an incipt (intonation), or the reciting tone as in the monastic tone
. -
To my knowledge, in the solemn tones the incipit is always used for every verse.
