Good point, prior. And I'd likewise point out (as a devotee of the old breviary) that either the ordinary or extraordinary form of the hours may be prayed by laity and clergy ;)
Heck, Gavin - we're still on one pebble at a time here. The schola sings a bit of Latin at Vespers while the pastor grits his teeth. But the parish bookstore HAS sold a half dozen of the ordinary LotH (Christian Prayer) books so something is happening. And for upcoming Morning Prayer at the cathedral I'm trying to sneak in the Pater Noster rather than Our Father. I think that's pushing the limits of risque for one year.
