Next month's extraordinary form Mass at my parish will be celebrated by the priest, but the bishop will be present "in choir." Where might I look to see whether that entails anything musically different from a regular sung Mass with just the priest?
I believe it's musically the same, except a possible chanted pontifical blessing. But in the sanctuary it's pretty different. I believe the bishop leads the prayers at the foot of the altar, and some other things.
Forgive my ignorance, but isn't there an antiphon sung at the reception of a Bishop, then the antiphon of the titular of the church and a versicle and collect as he prays before the Blessed Sacrament?
