Offertory Antiphon for Thanksgiving Day
  • Anyone have one?
  • Perhaps one from Ordinary Time or In Any Need in the Graduale Simplex?

I'll likely be using "In you have I put my trust" from OT 19.

And there's this mode 2 gem, from the somewhat obscure Codex Midwestus:

Shouldn't "Turcia" be in the accusative? A copyist's error, perhaps?
  • The GR lists OF. Benedic anima mea Domino with psalm 102 for the Mass in Thanksgiving to God. If you take only the first phrase, there's an antiphon from the Salzinnes Antiphonal that could work.
  • Here's a REALLY quick, rough English version.

Look through the Seasonal Offertory Antiphons on the Lumen Christi site.

I am considering either "It is good to give praise to te Lord", or "Bless the Lord, O my soul."

  • About the Lumen Christi site: I tried printing off one of the antiphons but it's garbled, i.e. not printing what appears on the screen. Is there a way to get around this? I own a copy of the LCM but it only has the antiphon, not the Psalm verses so the LCM is of no use as it is (I think, or am I missing something somewhere--wouldn't be the first time).
