The Ann Stookey Fund for New Music has announced its first-ever grant cycle to support commissions for new choral music. The Fund was established in celebration of the life of Ann Stookey, an avid choral singer and strong supporter of new music, who passed away in 2012. The Fund will support two or more commissions in each funding cycle, with grants totaling up to $35,000 each year. The Fund accepts applications for support of both sacred and secular new music from a wide range of choral organizations based in the U.S. Applications for this grant cycle must be completed by November 1, 2013. Grants will be announced on Ann’s birthday, February 2, 2014. Please review the new FAQs before applying. Go to www.annstookeyfund.org and click on "Apply For a Grant."
