Easy polyphony for two or three voices
  • OK, Polyphony fans: I am looking for about 20 to 30 relatively easy pieces that can be done with no more than 3 voices...these will be for folks who are excited about polyphony but relatively new to it, and they are not necessarily the strongest voices. Any thoughts? Post videos or links as you will...thanks!

If you're looking to purchase, Kevin Allen's Motecta Trium Vocum is pretty great.

  • I really like "Ave Verum Corpus" by Josquin des Prez. It's an SAB motet.

This recording is a bit faster than I am used to, but still nice.

    Fixed.

My own 2-part & 3-part Ave Maria settings are pretty free, and so is my SAB arrangement of the Mozart Ave verum corpus.

  • I have Kevin Allen's stuff...we actually use that with the more experienced voices. Thanks for the suggestions and the offers...
