Fr. Drew Royals of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Washington, DC is seeking voices for a (new?) schola. He writes, in part:

Do you like it when Mass is not boring but beautiful, not noisy but noble, not hokey but holy?

I'm putting a choir together and looking for men's singing voices (plural), or women's singing voices (plural), or both. 50 bucks a piece for the first two people who reach me and commit. We're rehearsing and singing Mass for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time at 6:30 PM on Sunday September 8th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14 M St. SE Washington DC, 20003.

We're singing: the Simple English Propers for the 23rd Sunday in OT; the Kyrie-Gloria-Sanctus-Agnus Dei; and the Salve Regina.

Join us and help us do our part to celebrate the Mass as best we know how.
