God is Love (MANDATUM by Richard Proulx) Lord of All Hopefulness Love Divine All Loves Excelling O Father, All-Creating The King of Love Ubi Caritas Where Charity and Love Prevail
Just a suggestion - perhaps you could sing the hymn at Offertory (assuming you're having a mass), since it follows almost immediately after the exchange of rings. It seems preferable to work within the structure of the liturgy as much as possible rather than adding things that aren't part of the rite. (I don't know you're situation so apologies if I'm being annoying.)
If one must have a song at that moment, which as Sam infers has no accompanying liturgical function, keep it short while they gaze lovingly at each other and throw a glance maybe towards our Lord's image on the Cross. SuggestionS: "When love is found" with only verses 1,2 and 5 -Brian Wren/O WALY WALY "Not for tongues of heaven's angels" GIA, J. Mike Joncas "Blessing Song" self published, C. Culbreth ((yours truly)
