My name is Fr. Morgan and Ii would like to start EF Sunday Vespers in my parish. Anyone have any success with this? Does anyone know of a chant database (Gregorio) for EF Sunday Vespers based on the 1962 Liber?

Fr. Morgan. God Bless You! That is so refreshing to hear!

We did vespers a number of times in our parish and I had to make up the books from scratch. Not sure if anyone else here can help, but welcome and pray for us!

The most extensive Gregorio database is called Gregobase; you can find a link to it through gregoriochant.org.

    Hello,

I have produced a booklet for 1962 Sunday Vespers for green Sundays, which I attach, and I can also share the gabc files if wanted. I have not fully proof-read it, so I would be very grateful if any mistakes could be pointed out. I am planning to do similar books for the other Sundays of the year, hopefully in time for them to be used.

A wonderful booklet, Oliver. The tone for the Magnificat changes from Sunday to Sunday. How do you provide the musical notation for that?

This booklet is intended for a congregation really. All the Magnificat tones would make the book too bulky and complex. You can't beat a real Liber! Failing that, this website: http://gabc.romanliturgy.org/psalmtone.htm will point or even write out the code for all the tones as needed.
