I'd like to see half those people from the comments try to do that. Many of them wouldn't last a week in the competitive opera world, much less even be able to approximate the quality of sound we heard, minus the voice crack. The tenor's color is very good, and he produces a very resonant sound. So what if he makes a mistake? Ever heard Virgil Fox play in his later years? He made plenty but that doesn't mean he wasn't an undisputed master of the instrument. The recovery in this video shows that the singer is a true professional. My apologies for the rant: it just burns me up to hear people ridicule others for their mistakes, especially when they know that they couldn't even do half as well.
