The Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks an Organist and Assistant Director of Music who is a superior performer of the organ repertoire and a highly capable service player and choral accompanist. The Organist will possess the ability to effectively rehearse, train and direct choristers in the Cathedral’s Choir School. The Organist will demonstrate knowledge of the particular nature of Roman Catholic worship and its related musical expressions and forms. The Organist will be an efficient and organized administrator who is able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and the diverse body of people whom the cathedral serves.
