Info for Hymn "O Spes Mea Cara"

    Hey all,

    My Latin teacher taught us the hymn "O Spes Mea Cara" by rote and I later found some sheet music for it on Google, but otherwise I can't find any information about it in English. Anyone know anything about this hymn or where I might be able to find information about it, such as approximately what century it was first published?
